AERIA5+ mattress overlay system

The Aeria 5 Plus is a premium Mattress Overlay System designed to meet the acute care needs of home or long term care facilities.

Indicated for the prevention and treatment of skin breakdown and pressure ulcers in patients. The overlay is constructed from 115mm transverse cells that cyclically inflate and deflate in an alternating pattern.

Cyclic alternation helps redistribute pressure, maintaining and stimulating the flow of blood and lymphatic fluids through the tissue to provide essential oxygen and remove metabolic waste products.

Control unit

• Digital control unit pumps over seven litres of air per minute; easy to operate digital touch panel with bright LED indicators

Overlay

• 360 degree, fully enclosable zipper with quick release functionality makes it easy to remove the top cover from a standing position
• Strong elastic straps simply and securely lock the overlay to any standard single bed mattress
• Integrated lifting and carrying handles on overlay
• Each cell connects independently to the mattress base for easy removal for cleaning or replacement in the event of a puncture
• Mattress cells are made from premium quality TPU coated nylon (not PVC) for superior performance, wear and tear
• Vapour permeable, waterproof top cover keeps moisture away from the skin; multi stretch fabric minimises friction and reduces shear. Seams are sewn and tape sealed for added bacterial protection
•  The ‘pillow’ feature optimises user comfort to minimise sleep disturbance
• In the event of an emergency, one pull on the CPR tag instantly releases air from all cells
• Reinforced air hoses prevent twists or kinks, maximising air flow at all times. Durable nylon cover minimises dirt and enhances design congruency
